John’s first season in the UK Easykart Championship has drawn to a close with a nail-biting final round Ellough Park in Suffolk, where just a handful of points separated him from qualifying for the World Finals in Siena, Italy.
Langridge to Smoke ‘em at season finale - 15.09.2009
National kart racer John Langridge from Flimwell has acquired sponsorship from the Weald Smokery for the last round of the 2009 Easykart UK Championships, to be held at Ellough Park, Beccles.
Brake troubles slow John at Clay - 31.05.2009
Round 3 of the 2009 Easykart Championship at Clay Pigeon saw John returning to the scene of his debut Super 1 win last year and, after just missing a podium at the final corner last time out at Llandow, there was good deal of optimism for a strong result.

John has been competing independently in MSA karting for 9 years, with much success at club level initially. 2007 saw a progression to the national Super One series in the TKM 4 Stroke class with support from Websolve. After finishing 7th in his debut year, he consistently challenged for Super One wins in 2008, claiming his maiden victory and 4th overall in the championship. For 2009, the competitive Easykart UK series presented a new challenge, John finishing a creditable 8th out of 40 entrants. Away from his own racing John graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008 having read Motorsport Technology with Management, and now works as a PalmerSport Instructor at Bedford Autodrome.
