John Finishes 4th Overall in National Championship - 12.10.2008
With his first win in the bag, John headed to Buckmore Park for the final round of the 2008 Super 1 championship in second place overall. With the unique points system leaving little to separate the top six drivers there was plenty to race for, including a possibility of the overall title.
Langridge Takes First Super One Win! - 28.09.2008
One of the targets this year was to claim that all-important win at a round of the Super 1 Championship. After coming so close with a second at Larkhall, the podium proved elusive in the next two rounds at Llandow and Fulbeck. John was back on more familiar territory at Clay Pigeon though, having raced there several times in the Formula 6 championship; a circuit he enjoys for its high speeds and overtaking opportunities.
John has been competing independently in MSA karting since 2001, winning the Formula 6 Championship in 2003 (Honda Senior Prokart) and finishing as vice-champion in 2006 (Formula Senior TKM 4 Stroke). 2007 saw a progression to the national Super One series in the TKM 4 Stroke class with support from Websolve. After finishing 7th in his debut year the aim is to consistently challenge for wins in Super One in 2008, as well as maintaining his impressive level of success at club level. Looking further ahead, John's sights are set on a professional car racing career.
