
Super 1 Podium Potential Realised in Scotland - 27.04.2008
Recent Super 1 rounds seemed to have clashed with other commitments for John, and Larkhall was no different. Nearing the end of his final year at university, racing was forced to take a back seat and John was unable to compete in the Whilton Mill round of Formula 6, and also missed the Friday practice in Scotland. ![]()
John Sweeps Lydd F6 - 05.04.2008
After missing the second round of Formula 6 due to a Super 1 clash, it was on to round 3 at Lydd, with the circuit now being run in reverse. This obviously negated John’s local knowledge and effectively resulted in a brand new circuit to learn. ![]()
Snow Forces Cancellation of First Round - 23.03.2008
Coming into the first round of the Super 1 National Kart Championship, it was difficult to make any solid predictions. Several front-runners from 2007 have left for various reasons, leaving the title battle wide open. Despite all the drivers doing a lot of work over the winter it was difficult to draw many conclusions, as this would be the first time they would all be competing together.![]()
Solid Start to Formula 6 Championship - 01.03.2008
The 2008 Formula 6 Championship kicked off on March 1st, with the opening round and ‘0’-Plate meeting at Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit. Practice was delayed by 20 minutes due to a lack of medical support, but this wasn’t a problem for John, coming off 2nd place overall in the Bayford Winter Series.![]()
Winter Racing at Bayford Meadows and Buckmore Park
John has been keeping busy in the off-season, participating in the Bayford Meadows Winter Sprint Championships. Results have been solid, if unspectacular, but most of the running has been on very old tyres and the focus has been on keeping in the rhythm of competition rather than outright results.![]()
Momo - 04.02.2008
John Langridge is pleased to announce support from Momo UK for the 2008 season. In a deal agreed at the Autosport International Show, Momo will be supplying John with racewear for his Super One campaign this year. He had this to say - “My thanks go to Lewis and Toby and I look forward to racing with Momo this year. The aim is to generate awareness of the new kart suit ahead of the launch in 2009”![]()
Season Ends on a High Note at Buckmore Park - 13.10.2007
Coming off the back of two good results at Lydd in F6 and Shenington in Super 1, Confidence was high for a good result despite having a ‘mare or two in the past at Buckmore and never making the podium. read more![]()

Due to work commitments, John was forced to miss the first day of testing on Friday and only just made the first session on Saturday morning. Despite a less than ideal preparation the kart immediately felt good, if not on the ultimate pace at first.![]()
Classy Drive Rewarded at Lydd - 15.09.2007
Up to this point the 2007 season has been somewhat frustrating for John, particularly the previous round at Clay Pigeon where he finished 3rd. It was time to make up for the lack of Final wins on his home circuit and confidence was high on raceday.![]()
