Although John has not raced since Lydden Hill in September, he has still been busy this autumn.

Mixed weather… mixed racing - 15.09.2011
With the Class A championship secured at the previous round, John decided to evaluate his options for 2012 by racing in Class C at the Lydden Hill meeting on 11th September. Lydden Hill is a short, tight circuit in Kent and the weather on race day was very changeable with high winds blowing in rain clouds and showers very quickly.

2011 Ford Fiesta Class A Champion! - 17.08.2011
Two wins at Snetterton on the 14th August secured the 2011 Ford Fiesta Class A Championship for John, in only his first year of car racing. A strong grid of 17 drivers took to the Snetterton 300 circuit for qualifying on the Saturday, where John scored his 6th pole position of the year, 2.8 seconds clear of the field.

Victory from behind at Rockingham - 21.07.2011
Rockingham Motor Speedway played host to rounds 9 & 10 of the 2011 UK Ford Fiesta Championship on the 17th July. The weather was in a volatile mood with heavy rain seemingly able to sweep in at any given moment.

John stays cool in the June sunshine - 28.06.2011
Rounds 7 & 8 of the 2011 Ford Fiesta Championship were held at Brands Hatch, as part of the ‘Modified Live!’ summer extravaganza. It was a unique event combining the European Drift Championships, Time Attack and modified machines of all shapes and sizes. The weekend was very different to any other type of race meeting and indeed the Fiestas provided the only racing action on track.
