2021 Race Season

The start of the 2021 race season is just round the corner. Due to the pandemic the first race had been pushed back, but we’re on course to begin racing next weekend (5th April).

This season, I shall be racing two championships. Firstly, the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 SuperCup, where we’re aiming to add to the podium scored at the last round in the rain at Brands Hatch.

Then, Alex Miller and I will be tackling Club Enduro, which run by the 750 Motor Club. We will be racing Alex’s MX-5 , which will have a few tweaks from the 20 minute SuperCup races, in order to help us in the longer 90 minute – 2 hour events.

I’ve very grateful to have the continued support this season from The Perfect View, Freshcold and Cambridge FD, as well as renewing my partnerships with AMD Innovation and Gover Training. Also joining us this year is Bexhill Property Maintenance, and I’m really looking forward to welcoming Darrell and his family to the races later in the year when everything opens up.

If you are interested and would like to learn more about becoming a partner, check out my Get Involved page. This year we have a fantastic package available, that includes branding, tickets and a track day where you can drive a race prepared MX-5 amongst other things.

Finally, we are continuing our successful relationship with BLiNK Motorsport once again. Fraser, Graham and Harry are fantastic to work with, and I know when I hit the track my car is good as it can be.

An exciting and action packed season lies ahead. My aims (as ever) are to improve myself and my driving, while also doing my very best to get as much success as possible. Can’t wait for Easter weekend to get cracking (fnar, fnar).
